Sector 01

Real Estate & Urban Development

Rapid urbanization, a housing shortage, and demand for commercial real estate in Cotonou: the sector is shaping the growth of the economic capital.

Key Issues: securing land rights, co-development arrangements, permits. Our role: identification, acquisition support, and structuring through our real estate division .

Sector 02

Agriculture & Agribusiness

Africa’s leading cotton producer, with expanding cashew, soybean, and pineapple sectors: local processing is the government’s stated priority, driven by the Glo-Djigbé Industrial Zone (GDIZ).

Key Issues: access to rural land, development of supply chains, partnerships with cooperatives. Our role: Identifying sites and partners; structuring transformation projects.

Sector 03

Retail & Distribution

A long-standing re-export market to Nigeria and its hinterland, along with the rise of formal trade and modern distribution networks.

Key Issues: distribution networks, customs compliance, retail expansion. Our role: Market entry, identifying distributors, local representation.

Sector 04

Manufacturing & Processing

The GDIZ (Glo-Djigbé) is the focal point for the country's industrial ambitions: textiles, agri-food processing, and materials—with dedicated tax and logistical incentives.

Key Issues: access to industrial free zones, labor, supply chain. Our role: institutional facilitation, structuring, technical partnerships.

Energy & Infrastructure

Electricity capacity shortfall, national solar program, road and port projects: the sector is attracting PPPs and climate financing.

Key Issues: PPP framework, connection, financing. Our role: project structuring, stakeholder coordination, institutional facilitation.

Sector 06

Tourism & Hospitality and Food Service

Unique cultural heritage (Ouidah, the Gate of No Return, the palaces of Abomey, Ganvié), unspoiled coastline, national tourism investment strategy.

Key Issues: coastal real estate, upscale hotels, operators. Our role: Identifying land opportunities, connecting clients with developers and investors.

Sector 07

Innovation, Digital Technology & Services

Sèmè City as a showcase, with advanced digital governance, a thriving startup ecosystem driven by fiber-optic connectivity, and a young, connected population.

Key Issues: talent, market presence, partnerships between large corporations and startups. Our role: Registered office and office space at the Business Center, introductions, market entry.

Sector 08

Logistics & Transportation

The modernized Port of Cotonou serves as the gateway to the hinterland (Niger, Burkina Faso): warehouses, transit, fleets, and logistics services are under structural strain.

Key Issues: port real estate, permits, transit partnerships. Our role: site selection, administrative support, and structuring of joint ventures.

Creative Industries & Entertainment

Film, music, design, visual arts: Benin’s dynamic cultural scene is seeking business models and investors.

Key Issues: Legal structuring of projects, rights, distribution. Our role: Project planning, networking, and event spaces at the Business Center.

Sector 10

Regional Development

Municipalities, decentralization programs, public facilities: Beninese local governments are seeking private partners and donors for their infrastructure projects.

From feasibility studies to stakeholder coordination, the organization structures these projects in collaboration with local governments—and provides donors with a direct channel to private partners.

Key Issues: PPP arrangements, financing, project governance. Our role: public-private interface, structuring, coordination among stakeholders.
