Frequently Asked Questions

All we're asked to do is, straight to the point.

The House
Is NEXORA a consulting firm?

No—and that’s what sets us apart. A consulting firm provides a recommendation; NEXORA remains involved throughout the entire project lifecycle, from identifying the opportunity to delivering results. We are a «market development company»: market intelligence, project structuring, and hosting infrastructure.

What is the difference between this and an investment promotion agency?

A public agency promotes the country in general. NEXORA is a private firm: we work on your project, with a single point of contact, a clearly defined scope of work, and a commitment to follow through until delivery—with no guarantee of results—while maintaining working relationships with institutions.

How are your fees determined?

Depending on the engagement: a flat fee for research and facilitation, time-based or milestone-based fees for support, and a potential success fee for certain listings. The compensation structure is always set forth in writing in a contract before the project begins—no surprises.

Is confidentiality guaranteed?

Yes, that is one of our six core values. Your information, your identity, and your plans are never shared without your written consent. We sign confidentiality agreements upon request, prior to any substantive discussions.

Investor Services
I don't know much about Benin. Where should I start?

Through a 30-minute, no-obligation introductory call: we’ll review your project, introduce you to relevant sectors, and provide you with an initial assessment—even if it concludes that Benin is not (yet) the right market for you.

Do you organize field trips?

Yes. We design customized visit programs: institutional meetings, targeted B2B meetings, site visits, and full-service logistics. The Business Center serves as the operational base for your delegation.

Do you work with the Beninese diaspora?

Absolutely—this is one of our natural target markets: real estate projects, business startups, and productive investments. We provide exactly what’s missing when working remotely: on-the-ground verification and local execution.

Business Center
Can a foreign company be registered with NEXORA?

Yes. A registered address is compatible with registering your company through the APIEx one-stop shop. It includes a business address, mail handling, and access to meeting rooms—and grants access to the Maison’s ecosystem.

What are the opening hours?

The center is open during business hours for coworking and meeting rooms; members with private offices have extended access. The exact terms are specified in each plan.

Can you reserve a room without being a member?

Yes. Meeting rooms and event spaces can be reserved by the hour or by the day, with no membership required. Submit your request via the reservation page — Confirmation within 24 business hours.

Collaboration
How do I get started working with NEXORA?

It's always the same: a conversation. You describe your needs via the qualification form , we’ll schedule a meeting, and then we’ll provide you with a written proposal outlining the scope of work, deliverables, timeline, and fees.

Do you operate outside of Benin?

Our roots are in Benin, and our vision is pan-African. We are already contributing to regional initiatives (ECOWAS) and will gradually expand our presence across the continent—with Benin remaining our home base.

Is the website available in English?

Yes. The site is available in French and English—the language selector is located at the top of each page.
